Baker and Zachary skip the $25 BRPD form. Central might too.
The City of Baton Rouge FAQ is blunt: everyone in the city and East Baton Rouge Parish must get the $25 alarm permit except residents of Baker and Zachary. Those two are independent cities with independent police. If you buy in Copper Mill or on Groom Road and someone hands you a BRPD PDF, throw it out and ask us for the right office.
Central is also an independent city inside the parish. Confirm Central’s process on the quote. Do not assume the City-Parish form covers every roof in East Baton Rouge Parish. The parish line is not the city line.
What still applies everywhere
ADT monitoring is not the permit. SafeStreets install is not the permit. You still order the system. You still need 24/7 monitoring. You still want three false-alarm habits so you are not the house that cries wolf. The only change is which window the $25 check (or the local equivalent) goes through.
Baton Rouge homeowners — including Baker, Zachary, and Central homeowners — can trust a SafeStreets security system monitored by ADT. We name the office from the ZIP so you do not file the wrong city.
Call (225) 424-1600. Say Baker, Zachary, or Central out loud. That one word is the difference between the right form and a wasted stamp.
